How do I register for Potato Expo 2017?

What forms of payment do you accept? Do you accept personal checks?

Potato Expo accepts MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover. Potato Expo does not accept checks or cash for payment.

Can I attend Potato Expo for one day – is there a daily pass available?

One day passes are not available. We offer two types of passes to attend Potato Expo– an All-Access Pass and a Trade Show Only Pass. For details on what the registrations include, click here.

How do I modify my contact information on my registration?

You can modify your contact information through the Attendee Service Center. You will need your login and password, which can be found in your confirmation email. You can also request your password be sent through a link on the Attendee Service Center login page.

How do I cancel or make a substitution to my registration?

All Attendee registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by December 23, 2016. A refund of the conference fee, minus a $165 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for registration cancellation requests received after December 23, 2016. Submit all requests to Potato Expo Registration via email at questions@potato-expo.com. The Potato Expo regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows.

Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the conference and onsite and can be made online through the Attendee Service Center. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution as well as updating any contact information. To request a Potato Expo staff member to make the substitution on your behalf, there is a $65 administrative fee. To request a substitution, email questions@potato-expo.com with the registered attendee’s confirmation number and the name, company, address, and email of the attendee the registration is being transferred to.

When will I receive my attendee/exhibitor badge?

You can pick up your badge and registration materials at the Moscone Center West Registration Desk. Badges are not being mailed before the Expo. You will receive an email in late December with a bar code to make it a quick process to pick up your badge onsite (think of airport check-ins). You can either print the bar code and print it with you, or pull it up on your phone. If you don't have the bar code, it will only take a minute for the registration staff to look up your name to pull up your registration record.

Where do I find Information on the National Potato Council, Potatoes usa, United Potato Growers of America, and other groups holding meetings prior to or after the POTATO EXPO? Is the registration for these pre- and post-meetings separate from Potato Expo?

Visit the Pre- and Post-Meetings page to find information on affiliate groups holding meetings in conjunction with the Potato Expo. Registration for these meetings is separate from Potato Expo; please consult the meeting listing for more information.

How do I get tickets to the THURSDAY Night Special Event?

Attendees with an All Access Pass, Academic Pass, Spouse Registration, and Child Registration receive access to the event with their registration. All other attendees can purchase a ticket at the on-site registration desk for $155.

Can I get a receipt for my registration?

Receipts are included as part of the confirmation email. To be re-sent this information, please email questions@potato-expo.com. You can also access a copy through the Attendee Service Center.

Can I talk to someone over the phone if I have any questions about online registration?

Yes, if you would like assistance registering over the phone send an email to questions@potato-expo.com. A staff member will contact you to assist you in processing your registration.

SPOUSE/CHILD REGISTRATION

Can family members attend Potato Expo 2017?

Yes, there are both a Spouse Registration and a Child Registration available. For details on what the registrations include, go here.

Is there a Spouse Pass? What's included with the Spouse Pass?

What is the age limit for children?

A Child Registration Pass is available for children under 18 years of age. For details on what the Child Registration includes, click here. Admission for children 5 and under is complimentary. Badges for children 5 and under may be requested on-site at the registration desk.

ACADEMIC, MEDIA, OR OTHER REGISTRATION

Who can register for an Academic Pass?

The Academic Pass is available for university employees and current students.

How do members of the media register for an official press badge?

Members of the media should contact questions@potato-expo.com or 202-682-9456. Please provide your full name, email, phone number, publication name and website, and your position with the publication.
